Updated
November 12, 2024
Eligible households can apply for a one-time benefit depending on housing category, fuel type, and income level to offset the cost of their household’s home heating costs. The benefits are paid directly to the household's energy vendor. Community Action Kentucky administers LIHEAP in partnership with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services who receive the funding as a pass-through block grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
